Grace Doman nursed Emma Barlow until her death in 1946. Like Arthur Barlow she was a member of the Plymouth Brethren and this is presumably how she secured this position.
She married Arthur on 30th May 1950. She was about twenty years younger than Arthur and similar age to Arthur's eldest son. They then went on the first of many trips to England together.
Following Arthur's death in 1966 she left the Fitzroy Terrace home to live in a home unit in Pier St Glenelg.
Grace was the sister of Lady Florence Baden-Paterson. Sir Baden-Paterson was a well known South Australian dignitary and Government Minister.
